I mean, i get on now, but I never do or say anything, and now im actually explaining why. There's just no one on here from when I first joined in middle school and I'm about to graduate high school now so I guess i'm gonna leave this behind.

So I know im late by like a month, and really late to those who read the leaked version of The Promise part one but this is what I think of it so far.

Spoilers below. I wouldnt read this journal if you havent already read the promise .

Ok so I really liked part one overall. I wish it were longer sort of. I loved the art. The colors and line art were amazing. Its nice that they colored everything instead of the traditional gray scale manga look.

I like how the characters are pretty much the same as they were in the show. I like that aang and katara are together I just dont want the story to be too focused on them. The whole "sweetie" joke was funny but I hope its not overdone.

I like the plot of this chapter but I hope it isnt going to end up as predictable as I think it will be. We all know that Aang isnt going to kill Zuko, If he does that would be a SHOCKER. How they go about it will be interesting to see because obviously Zuko is becoming "like his father". At the end of part one shows that he is when he goes to chat with the old fire lord. I literally went "noooooo" when i was reading it haha.

I hope that this graphic novel answers all the questions unanswered in the series like where zuko's mother is.

Does anyone know when the promise part II comes out? Or if its already been leaked....

Im so excited im freaking out.

The opening is so great and the scene looks amazing.


Its just sad that Aang is gone but it had to happen.

On the rare occasion that i get on dA and i actually check the journals on my dashboard, or whatever its called, i see that theyre like 3 journals titled "The legend of korra", so automatically i click one of them immediately and i see that theyre is a trailer for the new series.

I jizzed a little then i proceeded to the watch the trailer, TWICE, and the i jizzed again.

IT LOOKS SO FREAKING AWESOME, IVE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS. Actually not really because i really wasnt looking forward to it. I was just like "pfff a spin off is going to ruin it" but now that ive seen the trailer i think it really looks good and i sort of want to watch it!

I hope it is just as addicting and amazing as the first series without trying to mimic it.

I heard about the spin off being "steam punk" but i was not expecting freaking skyscrapers and buildings and such! What the hell haha. I mean i know that it is supposed to be like....70 years after the events of the first series but i wasnt expecting it to look so modern. How much technology can be changed in just that span?......ehh idk how i feel about it. Maybe it will be an interesting change to the avatar world.  I guess ill just have to wait and see.

But anyways it still looks awesome and i cant wait to watch it.
